This Semi-Antique Anatolian Kilim is 80-90 years old. This piece is handmade with 100% wool. With a dark red base and centralised panel a duo of fertility motifs which are framed in a black and cream mini border with a range of small motifs, with a further larger designed border continuing the tribal theme. With its array of natural dyes and numerous traditional symbols and designs this really is a wonderful example of Turkish Kilim production. The condition of this rug is good although in places the natural dye is slightly faded which you would expect on some used pieces of this age.
